Behind One Worldwide Radio is veteran DJ, promoter, and event producer Edward "DJ Eddy" Ayoung, founder of Barbados' legendary Fiesta Latina. Through decades of experience as a DJ and event organizer, DJ Eddy has developed a deep understanding of the music that keeps people dancing, and that same passion is reflected in the station's programming.

Edward "DJ Eddy" Ayoung is one of the Caribbean's most respected Latin music promoters, DJs, and event producers, with a career spanning more than four decades in entertainment and event management.
Originally from Trinidad & Tobago and based in Barbados since 1994, DJ Eddy has dedicated much of his life to promoting Latin music, dance, and culture throughout the Caribbean. His passion for music, people, and international cultural exchange has made him a well-known figure among dancers, DJs, musicians, promoters, and event organizers around the world.
In 1996, he founded Fiesta Latina Barbados, which has grown into Barbados' longest-running Latin music and dance event. Since its launch on September 21, 1996, Fiesta Latina has welcomed thousands of guests and has become a meeting place for people of all nationalities who share a love for Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton, and Latin culture.
Over the years, DJ Eddy has worked with and promoted numerous international artists, dance instructors, musicians, and performers from across Latin America, North America, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. His commitment to quality entertainment and community building has earned him a reputation for professionalism, creativity, and dedication.
In 2020, he expanded his vision by launching One Worldwide Radio, a 24-hour online radio station dedicated to Latin music. The station now reaches listeners across multiple continents and serves as the official radio station of Fiesta Latina Barbados, helping to connect Latin music lovers around the world.
Beyond music and events, DJ Eddy is known for his ability to bring people together, creating environments where friendships are formed, cultures are shared, and unforgettable memories are made. His work continues to inspire new generations of dancers, DJs, promoters, and music enthusiasts throughout the Caribbean and beyond.
